Where abortion is on the ballot in November

Montana this week joined a slew of states that will put abortion on the ballot for voters in November — a winning issue for Democrats in the post-Roe era.

The big picture: At least 11 states have green-lighted or are seeking to approve abortion-related ballot questions. Others — like Iowa, Pennsylvania and Maine — face significant hurdles that could prevent voters from weighing in on proposed measures in November.
