Vice President Kamala Harris officially accepted the Democratic Party’s nomination for president this week at the 2024 DNC in Chicago.
Her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, also accepted the nomination for vice president.
Throughout the week, party leaders, voters and celebrities worked to set the Harris-Walz ticket apart from her Republican opponent, former President Donald Trump, and her predecessor, President Joe Biden, who weeks ago ended his reelection campaign.
