About

Overview

A typical swing state, Nevada is considered to be a purple state at the federal level, especially since in the 2020 presidential election, Joe Biden carried Nevada by about two percentage points. Both parties have seen success in the state in recent years. Democrats control both U.S. Senate seats, majorities in both state legislative chambers, and all but one seat in its congressional delegation, while Republicans flipped the governorship in 2022.

As of June 2024, no Republican has won any U.S. Senate race in Nevada since 2012. This race is considered to be highly competitive given the state’s nearly even partisan lean; however, most polls show Rosen to be the favorite to win.

LOWERING COSTS AND GROWING OUR ECONOMY

Hardworking Nevadans are being squeezed by rising costs on everyday needs like housing, gas, groceries, child care, and so much more. In the Senate, Jacky is working to lower costs for the middle class, give families more breathing room, and build an economy that levels the playing field for workers and small businesses.

Jacky helped pass a historic new law that caps the price of insulin at $35 per month for seniors and gives Medicare the power to negotiate lower prescription drug costs, and she’s continuing the fight to cap insulin costs and make medications more affordable for all Americans. She is taking on Big Oil’s price gouging and working to protect Nevadans from even higher gas prices at the pump. She is also pushing to build more housing that regular Nevadans can afford, prevent grocery prices from increasing further, and leading a bipartisan effort to increase the availability of high-quality affordable child care for Nevada families. And Jacky supports cutting taxes for the middle class to provide more economic relief to families who need it most.

Jacky is also focused on growing Nevada’s economy for the future. She was one of the authors of the historic Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and played an important role in writing its provisions to expand broadband access and modernize airports across the country. This new law she helped write and pass is already creating thousands of good-paying union jobs and delivering billions of dollars in project funding to Nevada for safer roads, better airports, faster internet, clean drinking water, and much more. Jacky also successfully led the bipartisan effort to secure $3 billion from the federal government to make the long-awaited high-speed rail infrastructure project connecting Southern California to Las Vegas a reality.

Driving Nevada’s unique economy forward is a key priority for Jacky. As Chair of the Senate’s subcommittee overseeing tourism, Jacky has successfully fought to enhance federal support for travel and hospitality to ensure Nevada’s top industry continues to thrive. As a member of the Senate’s Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee, Jacky is working across the aisle to cut red tape for small business startups and expand entrepreneurship opportunities for students at Minority Serving Institutions. Jacky also knows that Nevada’s economy depends on fostering new industries, like cannabis, which is why she is working tirelessly to ensure equal access to federal small business resources and banking services for the cannabis industry.

TAKING CARE OF OUR VETERANS, SERVICEMEMBERS, AND THEIR FAMILIES

As the daughter of a World War II veteran, Jacky has deep respect for the sacrifice America’s veterans made to serve our country and defend our freedoms. She will always work to ensure that our nation’s veterans get the care and benefits they have earned.

In the Senate, Jacky has delivered housing assistance for homeless veterans, helped pass landmark legislation to expand VA health care for all veterans exposed to toxins during their service such as burn pits, Agent Orange, and radiation, and secured the first-ever dedicated Veterans Business Outreach Center in Nevada to help veterans start small businesses. Her bipartisan legislation to strengthen VA cybersecurity and protect veterans’ personal and medical information from bad actors was signed into law in 2022, and she has continued to champion bipartisan bills to help student veterans succeed in college, assist veterans with landing new jobs or starting their own small businesses when they return to civilian life, and address the veterans’ mental health crisis by increasing suicide prevention resources and programs. She is fighting red tape that threatens veterans’ access to emergency medical transportation, and she recently secured a win to expand access to VA telehealth services. Jacky is also supporting key projects for Nevada veterans by working to bring a new VA hospital to Reno and helping secure federal funding for Nevada’s first-ever national veterans cemetery in Elko.

As a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Jacky has made it a top priority to support Nevada servicemembers and military families. That’s why she secured housing assistance for junior enlisted servicemembers who receive orders to move off base so that they don’t have to cover their moving costs out of pocket — when they can least afford it. She has gotten bipartisan bills signed into law to address toxic PFAS chemicals on military bases, give the National Guard and Reserves greater access to active duty opportunities, and ensure Gold Star spouses keep their survivor benefits.

Jacky has also secured critical commitments and funding for Nevada defense installations. She spent years working with the military and local stakeholders to successfully craft and pass modernizations of the Fallon Range Training Complex at Naval Air Station Fallon and the Nevada Test and Training Range for Nellis Air Force Base. She also secured Nevada’s first certified small arms training range for Army National Guard and Reserve soldiers so that they will no longer have to travel out-of-state in order to satisfy their annual weapons qualification. In addition, Jacky has been a tireless advocate to bring more capable aircrafts to the Nevada Air National Guard so that they have safer and more effective firefighting capabilities as they carry out their dangerous mission fighting wildland fires in Nevada and throughout the West. Because of her work, Jacky has been honored with the National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS) Charles Dick Medal of Merit and the the G.V. “Sonny” Montgomery Eagle Award by the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States.

REFORMING WASHINGTON

Jacky is making sure Congress works for the people and rejecting the same old Washington games. She’s leading efforts to reform Washington by preventing Members of Congress from collecting paychecks if they fail to pass a budget on time and passing her bipartisan bill to ensure corrupt members of Congress lose their taxpayer-funded pensions. She is backing legislation to crack down on the influence of lobbyists in Washington by banning former members of Congress from lobbying and increasing transparency and accountability.

Reforming how Washington works also means fixing our broken campaign finance system. The Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision changed the landscape of our democracy, allowing billionaires and corporate special interests to pump unlimited amounts of money into our elections. Jacky supports a constitutional amendment to overturn this disastrous decision and return power to the voters.

EXPANDING ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE

Jacky will always put Nevada’s families ahead of the politicians and special interests in Washington who want to threaten access to quality, affordable health care. She is fighting every single day to lower the cost of health care and prescription drugs, address the physicians and nurses shortage affecting Nevada, and expand access to telemedicine and rural health care.

In the Senate, Jacky helped pass a new law to lower costs for Nevadans by capping the price of insulin at $35 for seniors and empowering Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices, and she passed her bipartisan legislation to expand mobile health clinics to increase access to health care for underserved areas in Nevada. Jacky is also pushing to ensure rural Nevadans have access to the reliable, affordable health care they deserve by introducing bipartisan legislation that would incentivize medical providers to work in Nevada’s underserved communities. She is working to lower costs for family caregivers and standing strong to protect Medicare benefits for our seniors.

MAKING HOUSING MORE AFFORDABLE

Let’s face it; the sky-rocketing costs of buying a house or affording rent have gotten out of control. These increasing prices are putting an untenable strain on hardworking Nevadans, and Jacky is taking action to solve the problem.

Jacky helped secure $500 million for the state of Nevada to create more housing options for hardworking families through the American Rescue Plan, including millions of dollars for rural areas.

With a surge in institutional investors buying up single-family homes, Jacky is working to prevent price gouging in the housing market and crack down on these corporate investors driving up housing costs across the state. She helped introduce a new plan to lower costs and cut taxes for first-time homebuyers who need down payment assistance. And as Nevada’s biggest cities continue to grow, Jacky is leading ongoing efforts to open up thousands of acres of federally owned land in Washoe County to build more housing that Nevadans can afford.

IMPROVING EDUCATION AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

As the first in her family to graduate from college, Jacky knows how important it is that our students have the skills they need to succeed in a 21st century economy – whether they’re headed to college or right into the workforce.

Jacky supports making higher education more affordable, whether it’s through advanced skills-training, apprenticeship programs, community college, or a four-year college degree. In the Senate, she is working across the aisle to secure more investments in career and technical training programs and apprenticeships for young people to gain the skills they need to secure good-paying jobs.

A former computer programmer and software developer, Jacky has made promoting science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education a top priority. Her bipartisan bill to help encourage young girls to pursue computer science and prioritize the teaching of STEM subjects in early childhood was signed into law by President Trump. As part of the historic CHIPS and Science Law, Jacky also helped pass into law her bipartisan legislation to break down barriers in STEM for students in rural communities.

FIGHTING FOR WORKERS AND UNIONS

As a former member of Culinary Workers Union Local 226 who once worked as a cocktail waitress at Caesars Palace to help put herself through college, Jacky supports pro-worker policies and has been a strong ally of Nevada workers in office.

Jacky believes one job should be enough and that hardworking Americans deserve fair pay and benefits, including quality health care and a secure retirement. She is a fierce advocate for workers’ rights to negotiate for better wages, safer workplaces, and fairer treatment.

In the Senate, Jacky helped introduce the PRO Act to strengthen workers’ rights across the country to form a union and bargain for better wages and benefits. She supports raising the federal minimum wage, requiring equal pay for equal work, making it easier to afford child care, and providing all workers with guaranteed paid parental, medical, and caregiving leave as well as guaranteed paid sick leave. Jacky is also a leading advocate in the Senate fighting to ensure federal funding includes Davis-Bacon prevailing wage standards and Project Labor Agreements to ensure projects are done right and on time by skilled workers.

STANDING UP FOR REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM

Jacky strongly supports a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions – free from interference from politicians. She will always stand up for Nevadans’ reproductive freedom and fight back against extreme Republicans’ attempts to ban abortion nationwide.

After the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, Jacky has been speaking out to enshrine reproductive rights in federal law and fighting back against Republican attacks on abortion rights. Jacky helped introduce the Women’s Health Protection Act, which would codify the protections of Roe v. Wade in federal law and defend women’s access to critical reproductive care. She has also championed legislation to protect women and doctors from prosecution by anti-abortion states for seeking reproductive care in states like Nevada. And she has stood strong against attacks from anti-abortion judges seeking to ban access to FDA-approved abortion medications that have been used safely by women for decades.

Thousands of Nevada women rely on Planned Parenthood health centers for preventive services like birth control and cancer screenings, and Jacky opposes partisan efforts to defund the organization. Thanks to her strong record of standing up for reproductive freedom, Jacky has been endorsed by trusted pro-choice organizations like Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Reproductive Freedom for All, and EMILYs List.

SUPPORTING LAW ENFORCEMENT AND PUBLIC SAFETY

Jacky is fighting every day to support Nevada’s law enforcement agencies and keep our communities safe from crime. She has helped secure millions of dollars for Nevada’s police departments to address staffing shortages, improve training practices, and provide critical equipment upgrades. These investments are helping build a new state-of-the-art training center for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, support mental health initiatives for Reno and Henderson police officers, and fund crucial technology for rural police departments. Jacky also broke with her party by voting for a resolution to block a D.C. law that would weaken the power of law enforcement officers to respond to crime, and now she’s working to pass a bipartisan plan to help police departments across Nevada hire and retain new officers at a time when law enforcement agencies are facing dire staffing shortages.

One of the toughest issues facing law enforcement right now is fentanyl. When it comes to border security, Jacky has voted to deliver billions of dollars in resources, including for new technology and more Border Patrol agents. Her bipartisan law to crack down on drug smuggling and help law enforcement stop fentanyl at the border was signed into law this year.

Jacky is also working to ensure Nevada firefighters have the resources they need and deserve. She helped pass the Fire Grants and Safety Act to ensure firefighters in Nevada and nationwide hire additional firefighters and purchase lifesaving equipment. She also secured a historic pay raise and benefits funding for federal wildland firefighters through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and she helped introduce legislation to permanently raise the caps on overtime premium pay for federal wildland firefighters. She has secured millions of dollars for Nevada firefighters, including $3.75 million to rebuild Storey County fire station and $2 million to construct an emergency operations center and fire station for Carson City. Jacky is also the lead champion in the Senate for the Helping Emergency Responders Overcome (HERO) Act, which would help provide greater mental health resources and support for first responders.

REDUCING GUN VIOLENCE

Jacky has been a leader in the fight against gun violence throughout her time in Congress. Following the 1 October shooting in Las Vegas, which is still the deadliest mass shooting in our nation’s history, Jacky has pushed for federal legislation banning the sale of bump stocks, high-capacity magazines, and deadly assault weapons to keep our families and communities safe. She helped pass the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the most significant gun safety law in 30 years. This critical legislation is helping to keep guns out of dangerous hands by enhancing background checks on firearm purchases for individuals under 21, helping implement red flag laws, and investing in school safety and mental health programs. Jacky has also helped introduce legislation to expand federal background checks and close loopholes in the law. She will always stand up to the gun lobby and do what’s right for Nevada families by pushing for commonsense gun safety measures.

FIXING OUR BROKEN IMMIGRATION SYSTEM AND SECURING THE BORDER

Jacky strongly believes in the need for comprehensive, bipartisan immigration reform that secures our borders, protects DACA and TPS recipients, provides pathways to citizenship, fixes our broken immigration system, and overhauls our backlogged asylum process.

Jacky has voted to deliver billions of dollars in resources to improve U.S.-Mexico border security and helped pass bipartisan laws to stop the flow of deadly fentanyl at our southern border. This year, she worked with both parties to support a bipartisan border security deal that would make historic investments to secure the border, including funding new security and screening technology, hiring more Border Patrol agents, and increasing resources for Customs and Border Protection officers. Despite the National Border Patrol Council and the acting chief of the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol endorsing the bipartisan plan, extreme Republicans in Congress blocked it because they would rather use this issue for political gain than take real action to address a growing crisis.

Passing immigration reform will improve public safety, grow our workforce, and strengthen Nevada’s economy – which is why Jacky has continued to push her colleagues on both sides of the aisle to come to the negotiating table and find common ground. Nevada’s immigrant families are part of the fabric of our communities, and Jacky won’t stop fighting to find a solution that provides permanent relief for the thousands of Dreamers and TPS recipients who call Nevada home.

PROTECTING OUR ENVIRONMENT AND COMBATING CLIMATE CHANGE

Jacky has been a leader in the fight to tackle the climate crisis, transition to a clean energy economy, and protect Nevada’s public lands and natural resources.

Jacky was a decisive vote to pass the largest investment in our nation’s history to address the climate crisis. That legislation is now delivering historic funding to Nevada to combat the worsening effects of climate change, jumpstart more affordable clean energy, and make it easier to buy zero-emissions cars that cut harmful pollution and reduce our dependence on foreign oil. With abundant solar, wind, geothermal, and critical mineral resources, Nevada has an opportunity to be the national leader for good-paying clean energy jobs of the future.

Nevada has more jobs per capita in the solar industry than any other state, and that’s why Jacky has led the years-long fight in Congress against harmful solar tariffs. She has taken on both parties to fight against retroactive tariffs that would kill American solar jobs, raise energy costs, and undermine our path to clean energy independence.

More than 80% of Nevada’s land is owned and managed by the federal government, and Jacky has led the charge to protect millions of acres across Nevada for environmental conservation across the state. She was a strong supporter of designating Avi Kwa Ame as a National Monument in Southern Nevada, and now she is working with Senator Catherine Cortez Masto and Tribal communities on a push to protect Bahsahwahbee as a National Monument in Eastern Nevada. She recently introduced a widely supported bill to protect nearly 1 million acres of public land in Washoe County, creating new national conservation and wilderness areas to permanently protect them from development. In the Senate, Jacky has also secured critical federal resources to keep Lake Tahoe blue and pristine, and help protect Nevada from the effects of drought and wildfires.

Senator Rosen has a lifetime score of 97% from the League of Conservation Voters for her pro-environment voting record. She is also a proud member of the Bipartisan Climate Solutions Caucus.

DELIVERING FOR RURAL NEVADA

Jacky is working across the aisle to deliver for Nevada’s rural communities. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law she helped write and pass is bringing millions of dollars to upgrade and improve rural infrastructure – boosting rural schools, supporting smaller airports, investing in clean water projects, and expanding access to rural broadband.

Too many Nevadans in rural communities still can’t access quality, high-speed internet, which makes it harder to do everything from using telehealth services to running a small business or allowing kids to do their homework. That’s why Jacky helped secure hundreds of millions of dollars to connect nearly every hardworking family in Nevada – no matter where they live – to faster and more affordable internet.

She has also worked with Republicans and Democrats to introduce legislation that will improve access to medical care and telemedicine in rural communities. Her bipartisan bill to help fund more mobile health clinics in underserved areas was signed into law in 2022.

When it comes to mining, Jacky knows this industry is a critical part of Nevada’s rural economy and supports tens of thousands of good-paying jobs. She secured a bipartisan provision in the CHIPS and Science Law to strengthen Nevada’s critical mineral industry and mining workforce, and she helped introduce bipartisan legislation to protect critical mineral production in Nevada and across the West. She also pushed back on her party’s lack of support for domestic mining and critical mineral supply chains.

Nevada has a thriving agricultural economy in every part of the state, and Jacky has broken with her party to stand up for local farmers and ranchers. She voted against new regulations that threatened to harm Nevada ranchers, and she is helping lead a bipartisan effort to block a Biden Administration proposal that could harm Nevada cattlemen by allowing beef imports from Paraguay.

ADVOCATING FOR TRIBAL COMMUNITIES

Jacky has been a committed and steadfast ally to Tribal Nations nationally and here in Nevada, which is home to 28 federally recognized Tribes, Bands, and Colonies. She has delivered critical funding to provide more affordable housing, high-speed internet, improved roads and bridges, and updated energy infrastructure for Tribal communities across the country.

In 2024, Jacky successfully secured more than $10 million in federal funds for nearly a dozen different community projects that will benefit Tribes across Nevada, ranging from building a new community center for the Duckwater Shoshone Tribe, to providing law enforcement equipment for the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony, to investing in key water infrastructure needs for the Pyramid Lake and Walker River Paiute Tribes.

This year, Jacky also secured more than $1.3 billion in federal funding for housing in Tribal communities, including for the Indian Housing Block Grant program. She is also calling on the federal government to increase Tribal access to mental health programs and make these services more culturally competent and inclusive. When it comes to protecting sacred lands that are of great cultural significance to Tribal Nations, Jacky has been a strong supporter of the Avi Kwa Ame National Monument in Southern Nevada and supports the creation of a new Bahsahwahbee National Monument in Eastern Nevada. Additionally, Jacky is proud to have fought alongside Tribal leaders for the return of land to Tribal Nations through legislation such as her Washoe County Lands Bill.

PROTECTING OUR SENIORS

Jacky stepped away from her career as a computer programmer to take care of her aging parents and in-laws, giving her a first-hand perspective on the challenges Nevada’s seniors and caregivers face. Every Nevadan deserves to be able to retire with dignity and peace of mind. Jacky will always fight back against efforts to privatize or weaken Social Security, and she opposes efforts to cut Medicare benefits or convert the program into a privatized voucher system. Jacky is committed to defending Social Security and Medicare because she believes these are benefits earned through a lifetime of hard work, and that’s why she is dedicated to finding solutions that guarantee we keep our promises to our seniors.

Jacky also helped cap the price of insulin at $35 per month for seniors and give Medicare the power to negotiate for lower prescription drug costs. She believes no senior in Nevada should have to make the tough decision between paying for their life-saving medication or putting food on the table. As a co-founder of the Senate’s bipartisan Comprehensive Care Caucus, she is working on bipartisan solutions to expand access to palliative care while addressing the issues impacting caregivers.

DEFENDING DEMOCRACY

Voting rights are the bedrock of our democracy, and Jacky will always stand up against efforts to restrict the fundamental right of every eligible American to make their voice heard at the ballot box. She has been a vocal advocate for the bipartisan John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, which would restore and strengthen the landmark Voting Rights Act to combat voter suppression. She also helped introduce the Freedom to Vote Act, comprehensive legislation to protect the right to vote by making it easier for eligible voters to cast a ballot, increasing election security, and strengthening campaign finance laws to boost transparency.

Following the deadly January 6 insurrection and dangerous efforts to overturn the will of Nevada voters, Jacky has worked to protect our democracy against these unprecedented attacks fueled by false conspiracy theories. In 2022, Jacky helped pass a bipartisan plan to reform the system of counting electoral votes to preserve the will of the people and stop future attempts to overturn our elections.

FIGHTING FOR EQUALITY

Nevada is home to a vibrant LGBTQ+ community, and Jacky has always been a committed ally in the fight for equality. She helped pass historic, bipartisan legislation to protect marriage equality at the federal level. At a time when the LGBTQ+ community is under unprecedented attack, Jacky believes more needs to be done to protect Nevadans – regardless of who they are or who they love. That’s why she helped introduce the Equality Act to explicitly prohibit discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity in core areas of everyday life – including education, employment, and housing. Every person deserves equal protection under the law.

ENHANCING OUR NATIONAL SECURITY

Jacky is working every day in the Senate to enhance our national security as we face increasing threats from adversaries around the world. She has written and passed bipartisan bills into law to foster missile defense and maritime collaboration between the U.S. and allies to combat Iranian aggression, create a civilian cybersecurity reserve program, expand cyber cooperation between the U.S. and Taiwan to counter China, shore up the physical and digital defense of federal data centers, ensure private companies can meet Department of Defense artificial intelligence needs, and provide American businesses and state and local governments with model exercises to test their critical infrastructure against the threat of cyber attacks.

As a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Jacky has also led the charge to provide resources to Nevada’s defense installations, which play a critical role in supporting our national security. She has helped provide long-term funding support for the Nevada National Security Site, which verifies the reliability of our nation’s nuclear stockpile.

COMBATING ANTISEMITISM AND STANDING WITH ISRAEL

As a former synagogue president and the only Jewish woman in the Senate, Jacky is the leading voice in Congress on the urgent need to combat rising antisemitism. She co-founded and co-chairs the Senate Bipartisan Task Force for Combating Antisemitism and has written and passed bipartisan legislation to fund Holocaust education in our schools and increase security resources for synagogues and Jewish community centers. She also successfully pushed the White House to create the first-ever U.S. National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism.

Jacky firmly believes in the importance of a strong U.S.-Israel relationship and has consistently advocated for bipartisan support and sustained assistance for Israel to defend itself against threats. In the wake of Hamas’s deadly October 7 terrorist attack on Israel, Jacky has pushed her colleagues and the Administration to provide Israel the resources and support it needs to defend its people, free the hostages, and defeat Hamas. She believes the U.S. must support Israel as it works to defeat Hamas while also allowing for more humanitarian aid for civilians in Gaza and doing everything possible to prevent the loss of innocent lives.

Jacky believes in a two-state solution, with a secure, democratic, and Jewish State of Israel living side-by-side with a peaceful Palestinian state. She also understands that Hamas is an impediment to peace and poses a threat to both Israelis and Palestinians.

Jacky co-founded the bipartisan Senate Abraham Accords Caucus, and she led a historic, bipartisan delegation visit to the Middle East in January 2023 encouraging the expansion of positive cooperation between Israel and Arab nations.

TECHNOLOGY, CYBERSECURITY, AND INNOVATION

As a former computer programmer, Jacky understands the power of emerging technology to fuel innovation and the need for rules that promote safety and responsibility. She believes in the need for more robust STEM education, stronger cybersecurity, and a forward-looking approach to new areas like artificial intelligence (AI) and digital currency that can grow America’s economy for the future.

Promoting science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education has been one of Jacky’s long-term priorities. Her bipartisan bill to help encourage young girls to pursue computer science and prioritize the teaching of STEM subjects in early childhood was signed into law by President Trump. As part of the historic CHIPS and Science Law, Jacky passed her bipartisan legislation breaking down barriers in STEM for students in rural communities. She co-founded the bipartisan Women in STEM caucus to promote more pathways for women and girls to participate in STEM education and careers.

With cyberattacks on the rise from bad actors, Jacky has been a leader in the fight to strengthen U.S. cybersecurity policies. Her legislation for a new Department of Defense program creating a reserve of qualified civilian cybersecurity professionals to respond to malicious cyberattacks was included in the latest annual defense package. Her bipartisan bills to bolster cybersecurity for medical devices, federal data centers, and Department of Veterans’ Affairs records have all been passed into law. She has also introduced bipartisan bills to improve cybersecurity in the health care and public health sectors, create cybersecurity apprenticeships, and bolster international cybersecurity cooperation with our partners and allies.

Artificial intelligence is a rapidly evolving field that is poised to reshape privacy rights, national security, and our democracy in the 21st century. Jacky’s bipartisan Advancing American AI Innovation Act was passed into law as part of the annual defense bill last Congress, ensuring American defense companies can better meet the Pentagon’s artificial intelligence needs. There are dozens of bills being introduced in Congress related to AI, and Jacky has been participating in bipartisan hearings and briefings to examine this powerful new technology.

Cryptocurrency and blockchain technology are ushering in a new era for the digital economy where Washington has failed to keep up. Congress must establish clear and robust rules for crypto to stop bad actors and prevent our foreign adversaries from getting to dictate the future of this industry. In the Senate, Jacky will work to make sure the United States has smart regulations in place that protect American consumers and foster innovation in the financial system. Commonsense regulation will mean more transparency and accountability for the millions of Americans using digital currency, including a growing number of Nevadans.

ECONOMY
Nevadans have been hit hard by reckless spending in Washington. Under the Biden administration, skyrocketing prices for food, housing, and energy costs have destroyed family budgets. But instead of cutting back during these challenging economic times, Congress has mortgaged America’s future by spending even more and devaluing our currency.

As Nevadans, we make tough choices and live within our means…why shouldn’t Congress do the same?

Our economic problems are the consequence of Washington bureaucrats consolidating too much power into a centralized federal government. This isn’t what the Founders intended.

As a conservative, I will be a champion for fiscal responsibility, spending accountability, permanent tax relief, energy independence and security, and returning power back to state and local governments.

IMMIGRATION
Under Joe Biden, our country is being overrun by violence and deadly drugs because of the cartels. It’s beyond a border crisis – it’s a national security disaster. Joe Biden, the D.C. establishment, and far left open border Democrats like Jacky Rosen are to blame. Under Joe Biden’s disastrous administration, there have been nearly 10 million illegal border crossings and hundreds of dangerous criminals on the terrorist watch list have attempt to infiltrate our borders.

Career politicians use America’s broken immigration system as a political talking point and never actually solve the issue. It’s unacceptable and puts America at risk. As a Senator, I will immediately prioritize securing our borders and fighting back against the drug cartels. They will be stopped and brought to justice for their heinous actions. It’s not a matter of politics, it’s a matter of national security.

It’s time the U.S. Senate finally takes action to stop the waves of illegal immigration and hold Biden accountable for his failure to secure our borders. I’ll demand more funding for border security and patrol technologies, finish the border wall, stand with law enforcement, and fix our broken immigration system to encourage legal immigration only. American sovereignty depends on full control of our borders. We must take this threat seriously and act swiftly.

EDUCATION
We need conservative leaders in the U.S. Senate who are committed to making school choice a reality across the country.

Families deserve the power to make their own choices when it comes to the education of their children, and I’m committed to getting the politicians out of the classroom.

Creating better curriculums, empowering educators, and giving parents school choice are the keys to unlocking the full potential of the next generations. A family’s zip code should not determine their access to a quality education.

It all starts with returning control to the local level, empowering parents and teachers – not D.C. bureaucrats, unions, or activists – to make the best decisions for students. Our classrooms should be focused on educating, not indoctrinating.

NEVADA
The Bureau of Land Management controls over 48 million acres of Nevada, a major piece of the 86% of Nevada owned by the federal government. As Nevada’s U.S. Senator, I consider it a prime goal of mine to see that targeted areas of land are responsibly released from the federal government, back to our state and counties over time. This land belongs to the people of Nevada, not D.C. power brokers and bureaucrats. Nevadans deserve the right to decide how to cultivate and manage our lands and natural resources.

It’s also critically important that we address the water crisis threatening our state. Entire Nevada communities are at risk of running out of water, if real solutions aren’t implemented soon.

Nevada has led the lower basin states in conserving our most critical natural resource, but we still get the short end of the stick at the bargaining table. It’s time for our federal and state representatives to work together to forge solutions that fairly secure our water rights and water security.

PUBLIC SAFETY
I will oppose any effort by the extreme left to defund the police — which would cause irreparable harm to our communities. We see the damage that the anti-police movements have caused in cities like San Francisco, Portland, and New York. We don’t want that here in Nevada.

I stand with law enforcement, and I’m committed to fully funding and enhancing – not politicizing – public safety.

I believe we need leaders who are committed to pursuing justice against anyone who disregards public safety and the well-being of their fellow Americans.

ENERGY
We have been blessed with an abundance of natural resources, but we’ve also been plagued by politicians pushing extreme left energy agendas, like the Green New Deal, that raise prices and destroy jobs.

President Biden is systematically reversing all the progress we made through America First policies.

As Nevada’s next senator, I believe strongly in modern energy solutions that prioritize American energy jobs, protect consumers, and safeguard production in all forms.

It’s time to restore America First energy policies that unleash the full potential of American energy independence and strength.

We can make it happen right here in Nevada. We have the natural resources to be a 21st century producer of American energy that brings jobs, energy security, and lower costs for consumers.

FOREIGN POLICY
America is a force for good across the world, but Joe Biden has failed to lead and project strength internationally, damaging our reputation abroad and putting our national security at risk.

For too long, politicians have used our unrivaled influence to intervene in matters that do not always have a direct impact on the security and well-being of Americans.

Such actions have come at incredibly high costs – claiming trillions of dollars and thousands of lives. Endless wars have endless costs, and I’m against both.

The arrogance and weakness of D.C. elites have led to failed policies that open the door for adversaries like China to challenge the United States as the world leader.

The United States is the leader of the free world, but we can’t take on this responsibility alone. In the Senate, I’ll pressure the White House to make sure our allies follow through on their responsibilities and pay their fair share of alliance defense spending commitments.

American foreign policy must focus on protecting and preserving the interests of Americans today and into the future through military preparedness, peace through strength, international cooperation, and most especially accountability to the American people.

CRYPTO & BLOCKCHAIN
Blockchain technology, and the decentralized applications and cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ether built on it, represent the future of our financial system and a new Internet free of rent-seeking Big Tech firms. America needs to lead the world in developing these technologies.

Yet the Biden Administration, its Elizabeth Warren-selected financial regulators, and Congressional Democrats have worked their hardest to deny Americans their rights to the financial privacy and financial liberty that crypto represents. Joe Biden’s regulators have forced banks to deny banking services to law-abiding crypto companies and founders. Worst of all, Democrats in Washington, DC want to ban crypto in order to develop a Central Bank Digital Currency, or CBDC, which would allow the government to monitor and control what individual Americans spend their hard-earned dollars on.

As your Senator, I will work to end the unconstitutional targeting of crypto and crypto companies, preserve the rights of Americans to self-custody their own digital assets, and work with other patriots in Congress to establish clear guidelines for American crypto companies to reach their full potential and create thousands of American jobs.

And I will work to make Nevada a national destination for these innovative companies, and ensure Nevadans always have the right to transact freely — safe from government surveillance.

VETERANS
The interests of Veterans should never be politicized. We need leaders who honor the sacrifices of Veterans and work to improve the lives of military personnel and their families.

I know the inefficiencies of bureaucracy and the impact it has on our veteran community. It’s the reason I started a small business that stepped in when the VA fell short, by providing critical medications to veterans in need of care.

I am wholly committed to expanding on the improvements made by the Trump administration to the Department of Veterans Affairs, and I’ll work to build even more effective networks of support in the areas of healthcare, education, and occupational readiness.

HEALTHCARE
Politicians have allowed bureaucrats to write healthcare laws, like Obamacare, that flood the marketplace with regulations — starving it of options — while driving up costs and lowering access to quality coverage.

We need conservative leaders who understand that competition — not government — drives medical innovations that lead to better care and lower costs.

Without burdensome government intervention, the marketplace and patients will be the driving force that solve the problems within our healthcare system. Not politicians!

I am fully committed to making healthcare more affordable for everyone, while preserving coverage for preexisting conditions.

ELECTION INTEGRITY
Every fraudulent vote cancels out a real vote. I want it to be easier to vote and harder to cheat.

That’s why I’m committed to protecting one of our most sacred rights: the power to cast a ballot in an election. Passing election integrity legislation will be a top priority as a U.S. Senator.

Every day, Americans are required to present identification to access even the most basic services offered by private businesses and by local, state, and federal governments. It should be the same for any person casting a ballot in an election.

Voter ID is a common sense and highly effective way to secure our elections immediately.

LIFE
I am pro life. I believe every life is precious — I learned that firsthand when I nearly lost my own life in Afghanistan. It’s shaped the way I view the world and mankind. It’s in our interest as a country and as human beings that we protect and value life — from the unborn to the everyday person.

Nevada voters have made it clear where they stand on this issue, by enshrining protections for abortion in our state law. As a U.S. Senator, I will not vote to overturn the decision of Nevadans – I will not support a national abortion ban.

I will oppose any bill that pushes for federal funding of abortion, late term abortions, or abortion without parental notification. And I will support federal judges who understand the importance of protecting life.

As a nation and as a society, we must do better in providing support for women — so they know they are not alone — and that they have options. We can do more to encourage life-saving alternative options, like adoption, while providing better pre- and postnatal care support and family planning services. We must come together, as a nation, to engage in honest dialogue to personalize — not politicize — this important issue and make sure all voices are heard.

SECOND AMENDMENT
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

The Constitution unequivocally guarantees our right to bear arms.

As a Veteran and as a U.S. Senator, I will always fight to protect the Second Amendment.

CANCEL CULTURE
Cancel culture is a destructive tactic used by the extreme left to stifle dissent and intimidate free thought — and it goes against the most fundamental American values.

It’s usually driven by a few loud individuals within a small segment of extremists looking to divide our national discourse.

This harmful social habit must not be encouraged or utilized by any elected leader.

BIG TECH
Like President Trump, I’ve experienced firsthand how Big Tech works to undermine and silence conservative voices.

Big Tech companies routinely abuse their power through privacy invasions and the manipulation of public discourse through online censorship and suppression.

We must vigorously enforce antitrust laws to hold these companies accountable and protect the rights of Americans to speak freely.
